New Owner Derek Lowe Takes the Reins

If you’ve noticed that your water provider has a new name, you’re absolutely right. When Derek Lowe purchased the former Culligan of Sheridan bottling plant and water treatment systems provider, he gave it the new name “Water Products and Solutions” to better identify what it is we do.

New Owner, Same Great Services

Derek worked closely with the previous owners to ensure that he could continue to provide top-notch service and meet the water needs of communities in the area. Water Products and Solutions builds on Culligan’s 30-year history in Northeastern Wyoming to offer the following services and products:

  • Water testing to identify contaminants in your water source.
  • Consulting on common ground water and surface water issues and how to solve them.
  • Water softening devices and advice to combat the region’s hard water.
  • Reverse osmosis, iron and odor removal and UV disinfection systems to clean and treat your well water or water supply.
  • Bottled water free of impurities, odors and bad tastes that is delivered to your home or business.
  • Rental dispensers, crocks, caps and pumps for managing your bottled water.

Derek’s Background

Derek Lowe purchased Culligan of Sheridan in 2015. Previously, he worked for almost 8 years as Operations Manager at BeneTerra, an oil and energy company focused on environmental solutions that include water and wastewater management. He honed his management skills as the course superintendent and property manager at The Powder Horn, a 27-hole championship golf property and community.

Derek has always had an interest in natural resources. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Vanderbilt and added an associate degree in turf grass management from Michigan State’s well-known Agronomy and Crop Science program.
